Patricia Helen Jessel (15 October 1920, Hong Kong, British Crown Colony – 8 June 1968, London, England) was an English actress for stage and film. She died from a heart attack in June 1968, aged 47.Jessel appeared both in the West End and on Broadway in the 1950s in Agatha Christie's play Witness for the Prosecution, for which she won a Tony in 1955. Her other stage roles included Lady Macbeth at the Old Vic in 1963 and Lady Bracknell in The Importance of Being Ernest in the opening season of the Yvonne Arnaud Theatre in Guildford.
