Altrincham Market

On Thursdays the Market boasts an antique and bric-a-brac Market where the general public and experts browse through the myriad of stalls.

There is a farmers’ market on the first Friday of every month.

The main Market days are Tuesdays and Saturdays, with a half market on Fridays, when visitors can expect to find a profusion of packed stalls laden with goods to tempt every taste and pocket.

As Altrincham is a traditional market it caters for everyday shopping needs with fresh fruit, vegetables, meat, fish, game, dairy produce, confectionary and health foods. To complement the food stalls there are also stalls selling cut flowers, plants, garden ornaments, cards and gift wrap, furnishings and household goods. Stalls selling fashion clothing, underwear and footwear, luggage, jewellery, books and gift ideas also add to the versatility of the market.

The Market is conveniently situated in the heart of Altrincham close to the George Street shopping area.  It is a short walk from the Metrolink/Bus interchange and Taxi Rank.  There is also plenty of parking, a regular train service and easy access from the M56, M6, M62 and M60 motorways.

The Market can also offer Disabled Access, Designated Disabled Parking and a Shopmobility Centre at the Regent Road Car Park.

We look forward to seeing you!
