Parking

Make the most of the free parking on Sundays in Council owned car parks (main ones are Regent Road and Oakfield Road) and on street parking bays in addition to the low cost Monday to Saturday rates of 10p for one hour, 30p for two and 70p for three hours. Stamford Quarter also offers easily accessible, good value parking and 720 spaces right next to the shopping centre (entry from High Street). Altrincham is Trafford’s largest town and the development of new stores and leisure operations together with refurbishments has all helped to bring a new vibrancy to Altrincham's town centre and attract more visitors. There are still a number of Town Centre Developments scheduled to take place, the building of a new hospital and a better interchange facility for visitors coming by bus, train or tram, plus the refurbishment of Stamford House. All very exciting for Altrincham, which will complement and add to the variety of shops and services within the Town Centre.
