Garrick and
local Club Theatre, both in close proximity to the

ice rink and is home to the
Manchester Phoenix Ice
Hockey Team. The Ice Dome’s
Silver Blades ice rink
offers a full range of community skating sessions,
a junior development programme for ice hockey and
a selection of educational programmes and
professional coaching for all ages.
If you would like a break from the hustle and
bustle of town, Stamford Park, off Moss Lane, is
less than 5 minutes walk away. Over 125 years old,
it provides a tranquil setting with its own duck
pond, plenty of seating and crown green bowling on
certain days.
