Altrincham plays host to a number of events throughout the year from Easter activities, the well established and popular Altrincham Festival in the first week of July, school holiday entertainment , festive fun in the run up to Christmas as well as Trafford's gastronomic extravaganza - Taste Sensation which attracts visitors from far and wide. There is also a variety of sporting activities at the Ice Rink, concerts, theatre performances and cinema showings to enjoy.

Altrincham Farmers' Market

Held every 1st Friday of the month between 8am and 2pm. Just to whet your appetite there will be Home grown Seasonal Veg, Black Welsh Beef, Rossendale Lamb, Free Range Eggs, Homemade Sweet and Savoury Pies, Fresh Fish and Seafood, Cheese and Dairy, Preserves and Artisan Breads

Vintage, Craft and Producers' Market

Held on the third Sunday of the month between 11am and 3.30pm in the town's historic covered market. There will be around 60 stalls selling everything from locally-produced crafts and foodstuffs to jewellery to vintage clothing, homewares and collectables so you’re sure to find something to suit everyone.
